On walking

I was delighted to see news yesterday of the publication of a new book, "In Praise of Walking" by neuroscientist Shane O'Mara.  

I also felt smug (since I wrote a blog post about this nearly a decade ago) and relieved (since now I feel no sense of obligation to turn the blog into a book).

Always nice when someone else does the hard work.
